Elessar has mastered the skill of acting like he's not bothered at all. He is easy-going, quietly funny and usually more interested in enjoying life than making a big deal out of stuff. He would usually rather laugh first and deal with problems afterwards. That does not mean he isn't paying attention. He notices more than he lets on, remembers what people do rather than what they promise, and prefers to make up his own mind about people instead of relying on what others say about them. For someone who takes most things lightly, he takes his own commitments quite seriously. If he says he will do something, he usually does it. He would rather say no in the first place.

He dislikes long arguments. Once a conversation starts going in circles, he is gone just like that. This can look calm and mature or incredibly annoying, depending on the situation and the other person.

He is comfortable around new people and rarely worries much about making a good first impression. He tends to like people who are a little strange to others. He is not particularly impressed by names or statuses. He doesn't like judgemental people. He is not easily embarrassed, which is useful because he has very little hesitation about trying something he is bad at. he is more than fine with looking ridiculous for like ten minutes.

He likes doing things his own way and does not respond particularly well to being pushed. Advice is fine, making decisions for him is not. Some of that might simply come with being young and having never had to build his life around someone else's needs or make important decisions as a couple. For now, he is used to answering mostly to himself.

For someone who is not particularly traditional in most areas of his life, there are a few family traditions he takes very seriously. He does not always have a good explanation for it beyond “We've always done it this way.”

Family & Biography

Elessar was raised by two mothers and grew up very close to both of them. That was simply what family looked like to him, and he never thought much about it beyond that. He also grew up in a very large family, with several older half brothers and half sisters and one younger sister, Okyanus. Many of his older siblings have children and even grandchildren of their own by now, so family gatherings are rarely small or quiet.

Elessar has always been close to his mother Feli, even if they both like having their own space. He does not run to her with every little problem, but when something really matters, she is usually one of the first people he talks to. Since losing his other mother a couple of years ago, he has become more protective of Feli.

Elessar grew up around music (mostly heavy metal and world music) and travelling parents. Now he lives in London and is beginning to build a new life while studying and enjoying a new and lively city. He has no big plans yet.

Random Facts

He's addicted to playing pool. He picked up surfing and skateboarding when he moved to London first.
He likes old instruments and will happily spend hours working on them.
As a result, he has a drawer full of strings and other parts that look completely useless to others.
Growing up around musicians means backstage areas feel almost like home. He often fell asleep on a couch there.
He likes music, but has never felt any particular need to follow Feli into the music business. At least, not yet.
He can sleep through quite a lot of noise, probably because he rarely had a quiet house growing up.
He owns a big collection of sunglasses.
He rarely takes photographs of himself, but his phone is full of random places, objects, and people who let him take their picture.
He can't whistle.
He has a few tattoos in mind but keeps changing his mind, so he has none yet.
His favourite meal is breakfast.
